Who we are

What Arkansas Online Crane School is, and what it is not

This site is an online exam prep service for people in Arkansas working toward a crane operator, rigger or signal person certification. You study on your own schedule, then take the real exams through an accredited certifying body.

Enroll

The short version

We offer self-paced courses that you open in a web browser on any device. They walk through the subjects the written certification exams cover, give you practice questions in the same style, and explain what happens at the practical exam. Enrollment advisors answer the requests that come in through our form and help you pick the right course.

The Arkansas part is the context around the courses: the fact that the state has no crane license of its own, that federal OSHA enforces the crane rule here, what free consultation the state labor department offers, and the kinds of jobs and site conditions crews run into from the Delta to the Ozarks.

Things we do not do

  • We have no campus, yard or training center in Arkansas or anywhere else.
  • We do not issue certifications, licenses or wallet cards. Those come only from the certifying body after you pass its exams.
  • We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or speaking for NCCCO or any other certifying body, federal OSHA, or the Arkansas Department of Labor and Licensing.
  • We do not run practical exams, and no online course can replace one.
  • We do not promise a passing score, a job or a raise.

Why online prep makes sense here

Arkansas crane work is spread across a wide, mostly rural state. A digger derrick operator in Polk County and a rigger at a Mississippi County steel mill both need the same accredited credential, but neither may want to spend a week of wages traveling to a classroom. Studying online lets people prepare in the evenings and on weekends and save their travel for the exams themselves.

Getting in touch

We do not publish a phone number or mailing address. The enrollment form is the one way to reach us. Tell us the certification you are after and where you work, and an advisor will write back.
